![]() The type of off-road terrain the Ulysses was meant for. If I was riding the Ulysses, I would be able to find out. Since I dont want to deal with a bumpy ride and flying rocks on my Low Rider I turn my head away dolefully wondering what marvels I would have found down that unbeaten path. As I explore the many miles of paved roads of this scenically wondrous state, once in awhile I come upon a gravel road begging to be explored. I live in Montana where there are more gravel roads than paved ones. For 2007, Buell upgraded to Pirelli Scorpion Sync tires (shown) because, according to Buell#39 s Web site, “…the Pirelli tires deliver better pavement performance and similar performance on unpaved roads thanks to an aggressive, open tread pattern.” Size remains the same: front: 120/70R-17, rear: 180/55R-17. The 2006 Ulysses wears specially designed Dunlop tires for street and off-pavement performance. ![]() The fact that this motorcycle excels on hard-packed dirt and gravel is a huge thumbs-up for me. ![]() No, Im not getting soft on ya I just see all the possibilities that come with owning a Ulysses. Me, Miss Cruiser Gal has fallen in love with a tall, aggressive-tired adventure sportbike. More than that element of adventure, the Ulysses is a fun bike to ride. Once in awhile, though, a bike comes along that really gets my attention – the kind of attention that has me thinking of owning this bike. I ride a lot of different types of motorcycles for my work.
